welcome to the Cat Blog!
This cat websites is a record of my journey as a new cat parent, sharing practical cat care tips, health solutions and behavioral analysis to help cat lovers cope with the sweet and sour of pet parenting.

My kitten’s name is Cheese, and she came into our lives by accident. My daughter, an avid cat lover, had been clamoring for a cat for months until we found a litter of five abandoned kittens in the neighborhood bushes. After careful consideration, we chose a sweet orange kitten — a tiny little one with eyes that hadn’t quite opened yet.

The rescue saga
It was a rough start for her: a severe eye infection (thick yellow discharge stuck to her eyelids and prevented her from opening them), and the harsh outdoor environment had left her with skin ulcers all over her body. With no experience in cat ownership, I panicked at first, then began to act methodically:
Clearing eye clogs daily with saline-soaked cotton balls
Applying antibiotic eye ointment for children
building a warm recovery area with towels and heating pads
Three days into the ordeal, her eyes finally opened slowly! While the prescription ointment provided temporary relief, recurring skin problems prompted me to try a medicated bath. After a few weeks, her fur was smooth and shiny again. Today, at four years old, Cheese is a healthy 11-pound (5 kg) cat who has proven that patience and study are better than fumbling.
